Whirrs, Cogs and Thingmabobs

Whirrs, Cogs and Thingmabobs is a fascinating exhibition using the weird and wonderful collection of Maurice Collins. Looking at gadgets, inventions and labour saving devices from yesteryear, the display consists of 150 selected objects, such as a doughnut jam filler (1920), a clockwork burglar alarm (1900) and a skirt lifter (1880).

In some instances the selection of objects can be adapted to compliment the collection at the Venue.

This is a flexible fit exhibition and content is negotiable - areas of the exhibition can be left out if required and additional material can be sourced if necessary.

Talks for family audiences can also be given by Maurice Collins on request.
